Emergency Re-Construction

When dealing with an emergency re-construction service we have to make sure set up proper containment, do a proper material order, have a proper scheduling, pass inspections as needed, and post clean. When we set up proper containment, we prep and cover all work areas and contents if any are present, prior to any install of material, this is to ensure no dust or debris sets on the unaffected areas or on your personal belongings. After this we make sure we place a correct amount of materials that are going to be needed for our tradesmen to do the work. Once the material is on-sight we have a scheduling for each tradesmen depending on the size of the loss to when they have to finish for the next tradesmen to do their tasks. Sometimes, after a big loss where a lot of unsalvageable materials are demolished and removed, we replace them with new ones as requested by a structural engineer which leads us to getting an inspection to make sure everything will pass for a safe structure. After this we do a post clean to give the property back to the property owner making it seem as if nothing happened to the structure after the loss.

Material Takeoff List and Scheduling

On an Emergency Re-construction project, the materials and scheduling is one of the most important steps. We deal with material matching, material orders & purchases, task scheduling, and proper documentation. When we match materials it takes time to get the specific material type, we may need to match the materials serial number or manufacturing label. Even then some materials wont be 100% the same, but we can find the most similar looking material. After matching we place an order, in which some orders have to be placed in big amount like framing, drywall, insulation, etc. When all the material is on-site our skilled tradesmen and sub-contractors get to work and have a schedule like a regular construction sight. This step is very important to follow in order to get the next tradesmen on-site for their task and so forth. We document the whole process as we go to show the insurance provider what has been done and the costs of everything in order to have them pay for the costs of the repairs.

Tradesmen and Sub-contractors

We have a crew of full of expert and skilled tradesmen and sub-contractors who are ready to do any repairs. They make sure they match all pre-existing materials before the damages, follow all necessary building codes, and properly finish within the time frame. Once having all materials our skilled tradesmen and sub-contractors use their skills to place all materials back and finish them to make sure the property goes back to it's original conditions prior to the damages. Once installing all these structural materials, our crews make sure they follow all building codes in order to pass any necessary inspections and protocols necessary for a safe structure. They also follow all schedules to make sure they turn in the building back in time, it's important to make sure that they follow this schedule to return the building on time. Whenever there's a layback like acts of God, natural weather, etc. we consider all parties to advise them to extend the building time.

Containment Chamber
When dealing with any restoration jobs, we take the time to set up a containment chamber in order to prevent any cross contamination. These containment chambers are setup as air tight as possible to make sure none of the contaminants, toxins, spores, etc. to go to an unaffected area. We also set up caution signs for tripping hazards, chemical use, toxins, and authorized personel to enter only!
Residential Re-Construction
After all mitigation is complete, we have to make sure we pass all inspections and all documentation has been submitted to the client and insurance provider, we then start to commence the re-construction process. The way we do this is by using our expertise and experience to see what materials will be needed to start rebuilding the property back to its original state prior to the loss. When rebuilding these properties there maybe times where a structural engineer may need to be brought in for their expertise in making sure the properties structure is built back safely and prevent any danger in the future. In other cases some of the properties materials may be needed to be up to code which means replaced due to the damages suffered or because the city, state, region, etc. in which all the parties involved have to be alerted.
The re-construction process involves a lot of preparation with containment in the areas necessary to prevent dust to going into other areas and any contents in the area. The process also includes a bunch of special techniques and great skills in order to properly make the property look like nothing ever happened. We also document everything taking place during the process to ensure that everything we bill for has proper evidence for whenever the insurance or property owner goes to pay us. After all the re-construction has finished we do a post deep cleaning to the property to get rid of all dust and debris from the building materials being used.

Documentation
When performing any water damage restoration job weather the property owner uses their insurance provider or not, we take the proper steps to document every detail from the start in order to show proof of the process being taken in place to properly restore the property that was damaged. This also helps with insurance coverage as a justification for them to cover the costs of the bill!

Commercial Re-Construction
After dealing with a big or small loss in your commercial property that required mitigation and removal of material, your left with an exposed framing structure. After making sure the entire structure is fully mitigated and ready for re-construction, we go ahead and set up proper containment as well and put site protection to all areas that will need new materials. In some cases due to the loss, new materials will have to be added and updated to meet the city, state, etc. code regulations in which a professional structural engineer might have to approve on. After our skilled tradesmen finish their work we do a proper post clean up to get rid of all debris and dust from the materials that were being used. This allows us to do a final walkthrough with the property manager, property owner, etc. We then give back the building to the rightful owner making it look like nothing happened in this building. We also document everything to make sure that the insurance provider pays for all the costs necessary.
Depending on the size of the loss and space of the building, this process might take a while to complete due to the parties involved that have to be updated often about the process. When updating everyone we need permission from the property owner to continue on with the process. If anything new wants to be added, we will have to speak with the insurance provider to see what they can cover. Communication is very important in this process in which we are trained to do to make sure this process runs smoothly.
